The photo of the senior band, shown right, was taken at a Evesham.

The band always welcomes players who have moved into the area. There are no subscriptions, tuition or instrument hire fees.

There are four main levels of playing within the band's organisation. There is a starter group where individuals are given basic instruction with an instrument. A beginners' group provides the next step in a player's musical development where first experiences are gained in group performance. The youth and training band takes beginners who have become sufficiently proficient to play more demanding music. The senior band is for accomplished musicians, regardless of their age.

The beginners' band, shown right, provides basic tuition to enable players to audition for the youth and training band. There are no age limitations on players who wish to start making music.
A starter group feeds into the beginner's band. The starter group is where a potenetial player is first introduced to an instrument and masters basic scales.
The senior band and the youth and training band play at a variety of venues, mainly around Oswestry and the Welsh Marches. The beginner's band perform at two annual concerts in the band hall.

The youth and training band are pictured left before their summer concert at the band hall.
